Hi all,
i am using oracle report builder 9i.

I want to know, is there a mouse-over feature in oracle reports?
In the report, user want to see the description of fields as soon
as he scroll his mouse over the field.

Is it possible in oracle reports?
If yes, Kindly tell me how to do this.

Thanks,
Regards,
SHane

I didn't try it (but you might do some research): open field's Property Inspector window. In its Accessibility node (the last one, at the bottom of the Property Inspector), you'll notice the "Alternative Text" property.
Reports Online Help System: Alternative Text property (excerpt)
This property specifies text that displays in a popup or can be read by a screen reader as the cursor moves over an object in report output.

Press F1 in order to read more about this property in Reports Online Help system. Also, follow links you find, as well as link to documentation placed on the Oracle Technology Network.
