I have a stored procedure that generates an SQL Statement. How can I execute that statement within the procedure. EG Execute immediate The_SQL (Execute Immediate is how you do it in DB2)

Many thanks for any help.

execute immediate is available in oracle also. you can use either execute immediate or dbms_sql package.
