What is flex field in Oracle Reports.How can we use it in Reports.Can anyone suggest for this.

Really, what is a "flex" field? I've heard of "lexical references", "flex on/off" mode in Paper Layout Editor, but "flex field" is a mystery to me.

Could you explain it a little bit more? Do you have any additional information?

Sry for misplacing my questions.Someone asked me about flex fields in reports.Does it really exist?I don't know.

Wild guess: perhaps this person was refering to flexfields as used in EBS and how to encorporate these in reports?
