Hi, I'm an oracle beginner and I have an old oracle release (7.1).
I wanna know if it's possible to install sql*net without reboot the computer, the necessity I have It's adding the listener service. If someone
could answer these more questions I'd be really pleased.

Do the tnsnames.ora, listener.ora, sqlnet.ora files are always crated in the installation? If I create those files could I launch the listener service?

thanks for all
