Transparent Application Failover (TAF)

Is anyone using this with the Dataguard? I see a lot of chatter about it with RAC set-up. To me, looks like you can use it with DG as well..

In data guard you can Use Fast-Start Failover .That would switch on your standby in case of any failure on primary.
