Hi

I need to implement Data Guard for of the Oracle 9.2.0.1 servers namely
Production (Primary) and Reporting (Standby).
My requirement is to replicate the Production data on reporting servers for reporting.

My understanding is that standby database can only be available in
read-only mode on Standby Server and user can access report if report
generation process does not write any data in the database.

But our reporting module stamp each report with time and user signature
during execution of each report.
Please help me in implementing the Data Guard (Logical Standby Databases – SQL Apply)
between Production (Primary) and Reporting (Standby) to access these reports.

Regards,
