I download Oracle Developer suite10G from web,and execute setup.exe in Windows Xp,but get follow message:

Checking swap space: 0 MB available, 1535 MB required. <<Failed

and setup prcocess be interrupted. What it could be?Swap be required in Windows? I am puzzled.
(Buy the way ,I just want to install Oracle Designer.Did I have some better way?)

No reference to this in the installation guide??
Swap is what in Windows is called Virtual Memory.
(Right-click on My Computer -> Properties -> Advanced)

By default, Windows does take care about size of the swap file ("System managed size" radio button). I believe installer found swap file which wasn't large enough ("Currently allocated" MB; for example 768 MB) and raised an error which was overcame by manually setting large enough swap file size.
