I have a export dmp file from a 8.0.6 DB. I would like to import this data into application express and join the 21st century. Smile Has anyone done this before?

Export file you have was created with EXP utility. You can import it into another database (such as 10g). In order to do that, use 10g's (target database's) IMP utility. Once you do that, you'll be able to access newly imported data through Application Express.

Apex is a tool, and tool <> database.

Sorry I meant to post this under 10G database. But your infrormation was spot on. Thanks for the help!

yes i did it from 7.2 to xe. No issues
