lost sys and system passwords [message #421951]

Hi,

I have lost both sys and system passwords. How can I recover / reset both of them. I m using Oracle 10g...

Connect to the server as a user in the sysdba OS group (usely "dba" in Unix) and connect "/ as sysdba" then you can change the passwords.

There is no chance that we are lost the sys and system passwords.If not change the password also.There should be the default password.

Sorry,It means that "If not change the password also" we are not changing the password for both sys and system schema.
