Hello,

I'm trying to get to the Java Console so I can see the system.out.println messages in an application. But it's been a while since I've run this application and I'm having trouble remembering.

Everything is running off a HP unix server (db, 9ias). How do I get to the Java console to see these messages?

note: nothing in any log files on server, java console on client shows nothing.

thanks,
patrick

Is the application running in an OAS?

sorry, but I'm not sure. I don't think so, how do I check?. (it's been a long time since I worked with Jdeveloper/9ias).

Surely you know if this is a standalone application or some app that was deployed on an Application Server?

It was deployed with Jdeveloper to this unix server.

I've found the reference to the out and err log files. It resides in the 9ias (application server) home/opmn/conf, file=opmn.xml
there is an entry for the oc4j-options, setting the -out and -err parameters to a file location.
