Good morning ..

we are using oracle application server forms & reports services standalone release : 10.1.0.4.2,
developer suite 10g release 10.1.0.4.2
and database 10g release 10.2.0.1.0.

We can use the imp/exp utilities in our application to imp/exp certain data (specified in the form
built with forms builder) to dump files when connecting using oracle developer.
These dumps are sometimes needed & used later.

I was wondering if we can call these utilities through the application server
knowing that the bin of the app server doesn't contain these excutables (ie. imp.exe,exp.exe)
We tried copying them into the bin folder but calling them through a form didn't work & doesn't seem
to call the executables though their full path is specified in the form.

Is there a way to do it , imp/exp data through the application server?
