hi Folks,

Is there any best way to connect to oracle using api from
c program . i mean to say optimized way of connecting to oracle.
something very fast like sqlloader.

SQL*Loader use OCI.
It also uses direct accesses that are Oracle internals and that you can't use.

pls can u explain me what is the difference between oparse(), olog(), oexec() etc
and OCIInitialize(), OCIStmtPrepare() etc......

ok michel thanks........
I searched in net, there i found oparse(), etc.... function as well as ociinitialize() etc...
to that's y i raised the previous post,
like asking wat is the difference between the oci and oparse() sort of function.
