What are the advantages and disadvantages of using non base table blocks over base table blocks.

NON TABLE BLock is used as control block there is no link between database and block. so commit is not efected it means data is not insert or update in database. otherwise it gives u error like table is not found or column is not found.

In table related block y r able to work with datbase through these blocks.
