Form version : Oracle 10g

Report version : Oracle 10g

OS : Windows xp

Oracle APPS ERP

I have report need to generate via excel by click button in the oracle form The existing reports are in pdf format. I tried to find something, but I couldn't succeed. Please provide better solution. I am using oracle database 10g and Application ERP

Oracle 10g has NO native ability to generate true (*.XLS) Excel file directly.
Oracle can produce either Comma Separated Value (*.CSV) or XML files that can be read into Excel.
Is either (*.CSV or *.XML) of above acceptable to you?

You could use Apex Office Print,
https://www.apexofficeprint.com/index.html
you send it the data as a JSON doc and it comes back as an Excel spreadsheet. Very impressive.
