Hi experts,

What is the best replication solution for two readable/writable databases which should be synchronize. Both databases have same structure and each database has its own users who can write and read .

This is a horrible problem. Advanced Replication is desupported in 12.2, Streams will be desupported in release 19 (so about 15 months time). That means your only Oracle provided product with a future is GoldenGate, with its massive overheads and licensing implications. There is the DBvisit Replicate product, which they say will be desupported in three years.

So you have to plan in terms of how long you will need this full duplex replication. If only a year or two, Streams will be fine.

Thank you so much for your very useful advise. So I think we should find a custom solution and strategy in application layer for sync two database.
