I'M GETTING ON THE CLICK OF A BUTTON THAT FIELD IS PROTECTED AGAINST UPDATE. BUT IN THE PROPERTY PALETTE , ITS SET TO NO.

I CAN EDIT IT ON THE CLICK OF EXECUTE TWICE. WHEN I CLICK ON EXECUTE IT DOESNT ALLOWS ME TO. ON THE CLICK OF EXECUTE AGAIN THAT FIELD GETS ENABLED. THIS WAS NOT HAPPENING BEFORE

1/ Do NOT write the whole post in UPPER case, this is seen as YELLING and it is more likely you won't have any answer from people if you are yelling at them, they are not at in the service of you.

2/ You didn't feedback in your previous post, it is more likely you won't have any help if you don't help others by just posting the solution you ends with and don't thank people who spent time to help you.

And this will even less if you don't follow the OraFAQ Forum Guide and don't format your post accordingly to How to use [code] tags and make your code easier to read (see your previous topic).

So, what changed since before? What modifications did you do to the form? Did you write any trigger (which modifies item settings, using SET_ITEM_PROPERTY)?

Which button?

What is "execute"? Is it "Execute query" toolbar button, perhaps?
