Can I get any tool to run unix commands in Windows vista? Some kinda editor? Not sure if its the right place to put this question!

MKSToolkit (not free).

Not sure what you mean by this?
Looking for a Unix editor?
Vi/Vim comes along cygwin.
You can still have fun with EMACS/GVim on windows.

Emulator would be a better term.
