test001 has posted 24 spam messages so far in one day, selling shoes.

For a while he was posting multiple messages per minute, faster than I could delete them, but I finally got them all, for now. I think I may have deleted about 100 of them.

"Ages" last from 0.3 sec to 3.7 sec for me; I guess that was just temporary. I don't know whether topic that consists of "many pages" (12 with my settings of 40 messages per page, which is much more than the "ordinary" topics that rarely span 2 pages) causes something like that. Frank Naude would know, though. If that's true, perhaps we could close this thread and open another "Ban spammers" one. But, then again, we don't use it that often ...

That's, actually, a compliment. You are a nice man. So, what would you want us to do? I suppose it is a bad idea to interfere between two of you. Just kidding!

As this Olivia person didn't do anything harmful regarding the whole community (yet), perhaps you should first add her to your "Ignore" list?

If it turns out that she really deserves a more severe action, do let us know (anyone who suffers from her PMs*).

Note the difference between PMs (private messages) and PMS (premenstrual syndrome).
